Opinions are like assholes. Everyone has one. It doesn’t mean you have to share yours or be one.
This is important.
It’s fine to “draw your own conclusion”. I don’t have to understand or respect how one could draw any other conclusion from the copious evidence that this was illegal and unconstitutional.
Just a few days earlier, I made the intention to buy a house upstate that could hold all of our grown-ish children and be a physical manifestation of our love. There she was!
I saw photos of Finne and gasped. I slid the phone over to Tim and he started reading the history of the house. Then he gasped.
What we believe in.
Why aren’t we talking about the real reason male college enrollment is dropping?
As someone who is deep into college enrollment thinking I found this fascinating. Especially important to think about as the enrollment cliff approaches this year.
The first day of the new year begins with some rituals…

The Alan Paine Argyle that my wife picked up for me in a clothing exchange. Made in England out of 100% English lambs wool. Perfect for going out to the local pub. Even the not so local ones.

Of all the famous and well known that I share a birthday with, I was always proudest that I shared it with President Jimmy Carter.
Much can be said about his missteps as President. More can be said of the humble Christian service he brought to the office of ex-President.
An example for us all.

I’m a bit under the weather so I’m using some older existing photos for this one. You’ll just have to trust me that I’m wearing this sweater as I type this…
I call this my “monk” sweater. The reasons should be kind of obvious. It looks like something a monk in the middle ages would have worn. My wife got this for me for Christmas many years ago from Zara. Double breasted with a slouchy hood. This is another fairly warm one that works well as a light jacket by itself in autumn temperatures.

Some days you just want to throw on a t-shirt and a hoodie. It’s a Saturday. You need something you can relax in. Maybe run to the small coffee shop up the block and grab a fancy one. A light yet warm layer you can crumple up, throw into a gym bag, and take back out after the work out.
This is that sweater.
