Re: Beatrix’s statement on age and weight — There are many different possible connotations of “heavy” one could derive from it based on her “one way or the other” modifier. Doesn’t seem to be only about body weight, could be other kinds too (intellectual, emotional, etc.)
People get heavier as they get older, one way or the other. That’s how life works.
