I often tell people that circus rigging is like doing 4 hours of crossfit per show for free.
Evidence: I lost 14.5 pounds over the 2 month course of this summer’s run.

While working on the Hague House Project today, these thoughts arose as I opened the above can to paint some trim for the powder room.

The final circus performance of the season this past weekend. This run was a tough one for many reasons. But I’m glad I got to do it with the camaraderie and support of our fine rigging crew.

Tiger Lily chose me. I’m not sure why. I’m not even much of a “cat person”. Yet, she did and I am the better for it. Not sure I can talk about her passing right now better than my wife already has. Suffice to say I loved her and will miss her.
Lately, my online participation could best be described as “slowcial media” and I’m OK with that.
