Beatrix, age 11, got two awards at school today. One for her performance in math. The other for being a Young Rembrandt Star Artist.

I rarely link to Kickstarters for a variety of reasons. That said, I really liked the video, he makes his case clearly, and believe in the idea behind it. Think I’ll dig around in the couch cushions and come up with some backing money.

Me before age 50: “I’m going to be one of those hip parents who’s into all the music the kids are listening to.”

Me as a parent after age 50: “What the hell is this noise!?! I don’t even understand how you can call this music.”
