I found this explanation of what time is and why it moves forward enlightening.
Daniel Nesbit took the time to unsubscribe. I’ve been using this season of endless offers, pitches, and sales alerts to do the same.
This is important.
Lately, it feels less like life is happening with me and more like it is happening at me. A full on assault.
In times like these, in certain seasons, and in the daily grind of life, it’s all too easy to forget what is important.
Family, friends, nature, meditation, health food and drink, humor, love, and so much more. All of these are important. So much of what we are exposed to in the outside world is not. Furthermore, so much of what the world wants to be important to me is in direct opposition what really is.
So, to remind myself and , hopefully, you gentle readers, I will be periodically posting pictures, links, quotes, and other items that I feel fit such meaning with only the simple yet emphatic statement “This is important”. Just as I have long used “What we believe in” to align myself with an idea, I will use “This is important” to remind myself of what truly matters.
This is important.

The short answer is yes, I’m back. For now. I need an outlet to the outside world right now. And, to be amongst great fellow bloggers like Mr. Harden.
I’ve kept a daily log for many, many years now. The past five years I’ve used a Hobonichi Techo for this purpose. As Austin Kleon reminds us, a diary of this type is evidence of our days .
