“The best way to make sense of the Second Amendment is to take away all the commas (which, I know, means that only outlaws will have commas). Without the distracting commas, one can focus on the grammar of the sentence.” – Princess Bethany and I often disagree on the intent of the Second Smendment for this very reason. You either believe the commas mean something, or you don’t.

Facinating and long profile of one of my personal heroes, Mark Motherbaugh. Takes you through the career and current pursuits of this facinating guy.
Favorite Quote:
“I think it’s an exciting time,” says Mothersbaugh. “I’m glad I got to be here to watch the record companies disappear. I was hoping for it 30 years ago. I hope it’s not too traumatic, because it’s going to scare some people who haven’t figured out what to do with their art. But once they realize that there’s a different model, and you don’t have to go to a record company that’s going to give you 14 percent of the amount of money coming in for the record — instead it’s going to be with a company that’s going to give you 85 percent — they’re going to understand that maybe it’s not such a bad thing that record companies are gone, and there’s a value for the artist there.”
New Analog Tools: Some recently acquired new analog tools… Junior sized Levenger Circa Foldover in a beautiful toffee colored leather, Pilot Prera pen with a super fine nib, Lamy Studio in black with a fine nib, and a Libelle Leather pen wrap to keep them pretty. I am a little bit addicted right now, can you tell?
Wality 52: My new, cheapo, fountain pen. Fine nib. Good writer for the cost (I paid about 15 bucks). Recommended to me by Ryan from Brassing Adds Character.
Gmail’s New Colored Labels
I know it is really geeky but… I LOVE the look of the new colored labels in Gmail. I really was not using the labels feature that much before. Now, I use them especially because I find them so simplisticly beautiful.
Well-Read Life
“When I speak to new Levenger employees I tell them that the best perk of working here is interacting with Levenger customers. I tell them that at Levenger we may not be saving the world, but our customers are.” – Steve Leveen, CEO and co-founder of Levenger.
