Doing a good job sticking to my very slow/no/low-carb diabetic diet, doing circus rigging for 30+ hours a week for the last three weeks, and being generally active have me down below 200 pounds for the first time in over 20 years. Pretty proud and feeling healthier than I have in ages.

During a discussion with a right-leaning friend on the Presidential Immunity ruling, I simply asked, “One citizen of this country now has more rights than any other. I don’t believe it is a democratic republic as long as such a condition exists. Is that OK with you?”
Gave them pause.
What makes a Plan A foolproof is having a Plan B.
I’ve been working very hard on a new practice: Only taking out my phone and using it when I have a specific need/task and turning it off and putting it away immediately after.
Not perfect at it by far but feel myself getting better or at least thinking about “the rule” when I pull it out.
How I’ve been dealing with email lately…

Some contains tasks/projects that have yet to be properly captured. Some waited for time to think of the proper response. Some required a long answer. Some I’ve just avoided dealing with for a multitude of reasons.
All will be dealt with today.
