Where do you call home? And why?
Jason Kottke has embarked on a grand attempt to answer that question.
Personally, I don’t think there is a one-size-fits-all answer. For me, I feel equally at home in Saint Paul, MN as I do in New Orleans, LA and, strangely, New York City despite the fact I’ve never lived there (but have visited a whole lot during my life).
Even in Saint Paul we live out of two houses (long story) and both feel like (and are!) home to me .
It’ll be interesting to see his thoughts as he writes more about this.
