What I Did Last Summer — Circus Juventas Confetti Highlights

When I try to explain what Circus Juventas does, and that I do the rigging, I never feel like I can put it into words. While watching this video of highlights from this past summer’s show, keep in mind that almost all of the performers are under 18 and every piece of equipment they are using was set up by the rigging team of which I’m a proud member.

As we increasingly are pushed by corporations to replace our “inefficient” appliances (that have lasted and still run perfectly fine for decades) with “efficient” “climate friendly” ones (that will last, maybe, 10 years), ask if that is climate friendly or corporate friendly.

This post from Kurt on Punctuality reminded me of my Grandmother who set all the clocks in the house ahead so you never knew what time it really was and if you had somewhere to be you better make sure you were early and that was one way to ensure it. “We’ll never be on CP time!”
