I really like Seth’s idea of micropayments for content. I can think of a handful of sites I read regularly that I’d gladly pay in such a way for to enjoy ad free.

When I try to explain what Circus Juventas does, and that I do the rigging, I never feel like I can put it into words. While watching this video of highlights from this past summer’s show, keep in mind that almost all of the performers are under 18 and every piece of equipment they are using was set up by the rigging team of which I’m a proud member.

As we increasingly are pushed by corporations to replace our “inefficient” appliances (that have lasted and still run perfectly fine for decades) with “efficient” “climate friendly” ones (that will last, maybe, 10 years), ask if that is climate friendly or corporate friendly.
