How much work can you do on an iPhone? by InfoWorld: Yahoo! Tech
Interesting article investigating whether or not the iPhone can replace a laptop. It should be pointed out that, while only a moderate success for the author, it was only moderately so because of his specific use cases.
In my use, the iPhone could easily replace 95% of the situations where I need a laptop. In fact, there have been many recent instances where I have plain regretted taking my laptop along. It has sat in my bag while I performed everything I needed on my iPhone. It is now the case where I must make a fairly serious case to myself in choosing to bring it (and grumble silently to myself even then).
In this way, the iPhone has been a real game changer for me. I love my laptop and it is my “principle computer” but more often than not it acts as a desktop computer, not a mobile one.
