Death is a part of life. Treat it accordingly.
My father-in-law, Dennis Lee Gladhill, passed peacefully in his sleep this morning due to lung cancer. He was 79 years old.
Here he is holding Beatrix as a young tot. He will be missed.
One of my proudest parenting moments came just the other day when Beatrix, age 10, spontaneously sang Don’t Stop Believin’ in the car and nailed every single word and note. Made me feel like I’m raising her right.
